It is so hard to watch our parents get older, with their health problems. My dad had lung cancer, and it also broke my heart to see such a strong man broken down by an illness. My heart goes out to you.
I hope your Dad doesn't need dialysis. If he does, maybe you can reassure your Mom so that he can do it at home.
