Lindsey, we all wish that we could go back to the past and enjoy previous times. You need to give Layla time to heal. It's hard to say at this point exactly how things are going to turn out and it sounds like her healing is going to take some time but that she has had some small progress. Being patient and letting her heal is going to be hard but that's what she needs right now. It sounds like Layla is still very happy and is doing pretty good inspite of her surgery.
