I remember that as a first grader I saw my first Barbie doll (back in about 1963) and that was all I could think about.....having a Barbie. Sure enough I got her! She was very loved and well played with. I've never grown up.......I still have her!!!
One year a girl at school wore a pair of red sparkly boots with black fur trim on them. You know, the kind that only a little girl could fall in love with. I wore those boots out. I just loved them.
I always wanted a Chatty Cathy doll, but Mom said that they wouldn't work for very long so I never got one. I still think about buying one on e-Bay, but don't know what I would do with her.

Oh my goodness! My grandmother has a Catty Cathy doll in her doll cabinet.
And, do you have the ORIGINAL Barbie Doll? The one in the black & white striped swim suit? If you do, it is worth $25,000!!!!!
