Hi Gina! It's good to see you again!
We moved last April. It was kind of on a whim and I felt like I was cheating on my condo lol! I still miss it sometimes. I was just bored and searching online one day in about February and found this house listed and told Scott it was my dream house. I did that a lot, but he would just brush it off... but this time he said "We could probably afford that" So we went to the bank to find out about financing, and we could do it!
We got their price down a lot, struck a deal, put my condo up for sale and we got a full price offer on the first day it was listed! So it was kind of like fate
But like I said, I still miss the condo sometimes because we put so much work into it, and my family helped out a lot for us and then we just turned around and sold it. It was unexpected. I am in love with our house now though, and I love our new small town and I can't wait to get married and raise a whole bunch of little children there
We still work in the city but it's only a 20 minute drive and it's a nice peaceful drive, compared to the same amount of time driving across the city in traffic.
Layla is doing really well! She had another setback with a bulging disc in her neck back in November, but we caught it early and she has recovered fully from medication and crate rest. Her crate rest just ended this past Tuesday
