WHEW! I have my 14 year old granddaughter, Abigail, till Friday. Her mom is in Houston looking for a house to buy. Did I tell you all they have a contract on their house here? They have their inspection tomorrow and if everything goes OK with that, then they should be good to go. They will have to move into my old house by the end of February.
Hopefully, everything will go smoothly!
Anyway, back to Abigail. I picked her from school today, took her to her house to get her clothes, stopped to buy her a hair straightener to leave at my house, picked up supper for her, went home for an hour while she did her homework, fed Gary, took her to volleyball practice, went back home, picked her up from practice, went back home, fixed her a snack, fixed Gary a snack, fed the dogs, and here I am. WHEW! In the morning I have to take her to school, drop the dogs off at the groomers, go to work, and pick her up from school (although Gary may do that - after he picks up the dogs). We are going to take her out to eat dinner at our favorite little grill - so thank goodness no dinner to cook.
I'm not used to all this running around!
