We don't usually do much for christmas eve except go to christmas eve service.
Christmas day, I get up & hubby & I exchange presents (I still wake up really early like a little kid). We head over to my grandpa's (this year will be the first year without grandma
) at about 10 & help my mom get dinner around. We always have ham loaf at christmas, twice baked potatoes, my uncle brings some type of appetizer, either wings or shrimp. All kinds of pies & my aunt makes a log roll (giant ho-ho). After dinner we open presents, one at a time youngest to oldest. Usually at thanksgiving all of the cousins exchange names & pick a theme & then we exchange presents. We usually go to my in-laws either the weekend before or after christmas.
