Wow......everyone has been so busy!!!!

Dae Lynn came over last week and we cleaned out the closets to the guest rooms where they'll be staying so they can get their own things in there........now I have a living room FULL of STUFF that I need to put away........somewhere!!! I have a couple of large totes full for a garage sale and now I have things that need to be put away........but a lot of them are projects and if I put them away.......it's out of sight.....out of mind!!! Oh well.....I guess they'll just have to go down to the basement anyway. The mess is really starting to bug me!!!

Saturday Dae Lynn and I went to some garage sales. It was so hot!!! I found a few things but not much! There were a lot of sales in town but we only went to a few because of the heat. Then I brought Dean home with me while Dae Lynn wen to clean at the church.

Then Saturday evening we had a friend's 50th birthday party to go to but Glen and I were late because he was planting and almost finished so I told him that we could go late. I was surprised when we got there because Karen's family had also planned for her and her husband to renew their wedding vows!! Roger was in on it and he bought her a beautiful ring for the occasion!!! They had probably 80 people there and there were some old friends of ours that we were so happy to see!! Karen's daughters and DIL had gone so far to have bought her a couple of dresses and shoes to wear for the wedding renewal!! It was just so sweet!!! They had a catered meal and a DJ so we were able to dance a little bit by the pool with a string of lights lighting the night.......so nice!!

Then yesterday after church we had a church picnic up at a local lake. It was nice....but windy!!! Then Jaci had sent us a text and invited us over for supper so went over there and played in her creek then ate supper with her and Nate!! After supper we played cards.......we're going to have to change partners next time!!! Nate and I keep trying to beat Glen and Jaci but we're just not getting it done so maybe it's time to do some trading around!!! He's a good sport about it though!!!

Wow!! We had a busy weekend!!! Ok......now to get this living room cleaned!!!!
