Yep, you are so right. Last year was the first year Gary did not have a deer lease in about 10-12 years. He was a pitiful sight. Even though he had a place to hunt, they rarely saw any deer and you could only shoot 1, I think. He is very excited about this place, and it looks really good! I think a lot of the deer population has died during this drought, so I don't know how successful the season will be - but I think it's more about HAVING a place, than it is about shooting a deer.
