I see them as the gold in my golden years. It's true that there's just no comparison to grandkids. You're free to love them, spoil them, and are free OF the tough job that parents have. I'm going to hold onto this! My daughter in law has polycystic ovaries and went to a fertility specialist earlier this year. She had minor surgery to clean her ovaries up and the Dr. said there was no reason she couldn't get pregnant. My son was tested too. They wanted to give her shots that cost $1000/each

Needless to say, they couldn't afford that. My son has a new job now that has better insurance and they hope to try again. I'd love to be a grandma!
