Lindsey, I can't remember for sure but I think I remember that Layla is at risk for bladder stones. If so, there are other ways to acidify her urine without changing her food. I'll have to ask my friend about it. She has a dog with the same problem and she took him to my country vet who is famous for home remedies. The only thing I can remember is to offer him cranberry juice. There were about 3 other things she could use to acidify his urine. She didn't want to buy the expensive food and my vet told her she didn't have to. Maybe it would work for Layla and you wouldn't have to use the special food and so she wouldn't drink so much water. I'll find out tomorrow.
