OH Diana, again, I'm so sorry all this has to happen to your family. You are such good people and you have tried so hard to help Damon, but he has to want help before it will do any good. Such realization is often very difficult for some people - and many never come to that conclusion. You have done so much for him and Karlie, now it's time for him to figure out things on his own. I'm sorry it has to be this way, but I don't see any other way.
Gary is down again with fluid overload. We had to go to the heart failure clinic and get more IV Lasix today. This can't continue, so they will be running some tests to see if they can figure out what is going on. I feel so sorry for him. He feels so badly. When I was going to bed last night, (he had to sit up in the chair all night to be able to breathe), he asked if I could stay home with him today. I knew then, that he was really scared. Fortunately, I could stay home today. I called the heart clinic at 8:30 and we were there by 10:00. He's feeling much better already.
