Judy, I hope the situation improves and if not, that Sophie goes to a wonderful family. I'm sure she will be fine anywhere, if she is unmiffed by Annie's aggression. We once had a female dog who didn't get along with ANYONE, dog or human (other than my husband). We tolerated the situation until Abigail came along, then we found another home for her. I wouldn't want a new pet to upset things with Rex and Rowdy either.
Diana, I hope your eye is better soon. I think Lindsey may be right, you may need a different med - or you may just have to wait it out.
