Janet, Brooke said the same thing after it was all over, that perhaps following them was not the best idea. But she did. She also said she could see women in the vehicle, so it wasn't like it was a car full of men only. And she said all she could think was that if she didn't get them stopped, there would be no way to verify what had happened, because everyone that "saw" the accident happen was long gone. I'm glad it worked out for the best.
Last night Brooke texted me asking when I was coming to Houston. I said I had no commitments, I could come any time. I thought she might be wanting me to come this weekend but I wasn't sure. So, I said I could come at any time, even next weekend when I planned to go to OK, because I can go up there any time too. She never said she wanted me to come this weekend but finally she asked if I had class next Tuesday, which I don't, and then she said, "Well you could come for a long weekend". So, I'll be driving down tomorrow morning and staying till tuesday, or whenever (feels funny to not have to have definite plans on when I HAVE to return home from a trip). Brooke always tries to "stay strong" (wonder where she gets that :roll eyes
so I guess she didn't want to say she needed me to come down this weekend. But I know that accident had to shake her up badly because she had both of the girls with her. I hope "MOM" can be of some help.
