Being in heat like that just makes you feel bad all over! Our summer hasn't been as brutal as usual, but it's coming fast.
We have had a busy week. Mike really needed something newer to drive, so we got him a 2010 Ford Expedition with 36K on it. It had brand new tires, a great extended warranty, leather seats, and dvd player, but no more bells and whistles. We were going to get something new and smaller and more fuel efficient, but noooo... this is his 3rd Expedition in a row. It's been a long time since we've had a car payment, but we sure do now!
Mike has a heart cath Friday. His chest has been hurting and he's been feeling bad, so the doc always goes straight to a cath because a stress test has NEVER shown a thing on Mike. He had a chest xray and blood work done this morning. This afternoon the nurse called to say his blood sugar is 480 and his kidney function is off. He had blood work done 2 weeks ago with his PCP and everything was fine. Well, his triglycerides were high, but they always are. The kidney thing is new. Anyway... I hope his arteries are clear, or at least can be opened with a stent. He has 11 of them already
I'm doing ok, except I'm getting fatter by the day. That's what happens when I eat everything in sight
I miss my kids sooo much, and it's only been 2 1/2 months since I've seen them. I just need to to feel those arms around my neck. Thank God for Skype!
