David and his wife, my good friend Cindy, came over yesterday to pick up the boat and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be to let it go. It's sad, but I'm really glad that David will be enjoying Gary's boat.
I worked out really hard this morning in my exercise class, maybe a little bit too hard because I was just really tired the rest of the day! I even came home a little early so I could take a nap, I was so tired.
Today is my mom's 90th birthday. I cooked dinner for her yesterday and we had a good visit. Today I went over and took her a little present and spent some time with her. They had a little party for her at her retirement center. We are having a family party for her October 6th. There will be about 15 of us here.
It will be fun and I have plenty of time to get ready for it.
Our weather has warmed up a bit, but I notice that it is supposed to cool down and maybe rain this weekend. I'm so ready for cooler weather. It is still in the low 90's during the day and that is nice, but I'm ready for 70-80's!!!
