I am to start taking the aciphex (for the GERD) again, because it will help with the hernia, if that is what it is. I am to try it for a week and see how I feel, and then check back with him when the meds are gone. If it doesn't help, we will start doing some tests.
I also sat and cried about my weight. He knows how many "diets" I've been on, saw me lose, saw me gain. Then we both realized it had been 2 years since my thyroid has been checked. My drier skin, tiredness, and inability to lose weight can all stem from my thyroid. I will know late tomorrow afternoon what the results are. I sure hope something can happen to help me!!
Thanks Rebecca for the well wishes. You are one on here that I know will always be on my side and wishing me well!!! I luv ya girlfriend!!!

I am SOOOO glad to hear that it isn't anything serious and that your doctor is working with you not only on your potential hernia and GERD, but that he is also taking the steps to help you with your weight. Please keep us updated!!!!!! Your doctor sounds like a nice man who you can trust and confide in.
