If I've given a bad gift, I wasn't alerted to it. Now, one Valentine's day, my (then future inlaws) sent a box of valentine gifts to be given to my daughter. Long story short, my husband (then boyfriend), didn't give my daughter the gift...instead, he gave the gift to me (a little stuffed teddy bear), then the jerk broke up with me. Without going into full details, he learned his lesson but I did finally take him back almost 2 months later.
Now, bad gift giving runs on hubby's side of the family. His cousin's wife and I were preggers at the same time...her daughter was born 2 weeks before my son. Anyway, for Christmas, the year she was preggers, he got her a pack of
scrunchi's (for your hair) and a bottle of Pepto Bismol. I guess cause she complained of heartburn. The following year, a carton of cigs.
