He knows I worry, and I think he kinda appreciates it, I told him that I'm still adjusting to the whole dating a firefighter thing. I told him yesterday (finally saw him!!! In all he spent 90 of 102 hrs at the station!! ) that I will never stop worrying about him, but I'll get better at dealing with it. Before this he had just spent 9 hours at a wildfire, then suddenly he was at the station non-stop the past few days and I was starting to panic, I'm still adjusting and he knows that, and he knows how proud I am of him.

He did tell me that the double fatality was the worst he'd ever seen, the Justice of the Peace that had to come to scene to call the two individuals hadn't even seen anything that bad, and a couple of the firefighters took one look at them and left. It wasn't pretty, they didn't even know it was two people until they started trying to get them outta the car...
