Tink, people often ask me if I mind that my husband works all the time. My husband and I are both very independant types, also. I tell them that I would rather him work hard to make a living for us than stay at home and babysit me. When he's working, I do what I want. I know I will probably be singing a different tune when we have children, but it's working for us now. We really cherish our time together, and when you're not together alot, it's hard to fuss and fight. But he's schedule is supposed to die down when he gets done with medical school. That is why we're waiting to have children. If he gets into the residency program he is wanting, he'll only have to work about 50 hours/week.
