Janet, to add someone to your friends, you have to go to
their my space page and usually under their picture is a box "Contacting _____" with several options in the box. One of them is "Add to friends". Click on that and an e-mail will be sent to them letting them know that you would like to be their friend, and they have to accept or reject you. If they accept, they are your friend. It's really easy.
Karen did not get home before I went to bed last night. I'd just ignore the other my space for now and enjoy your new one. Really like your lavendar flowers!!!!
