I just got done watching it online cause I was on a date last night and missed it and GOODNESS!!!! It's obvious that they can't kill her off, it's GREY's Anatomy after all, she's the central focus of the show. And they're not going to kick it when it's doing so well.

It may be a bit sadistic of me, but I really like it when they do stuff like this to the main characters, the drama is just so intense, it's not like when George's Dad got sick and died, it's one of the main characters, one of the people you've seen from day one and she's in a life-or-death situation.

Why couldn't they have done this in 2 episodes like they did with the bomb squad one?

I hope that Addison is the one that jumps in and saves her. It would be like the ultimate forgiveness, she stole her husband, now she's going to save her life. It'll level the field, Addison cheated on Derek with McSteamy, Derek moved to Seattle and met Meredith and fell for her, Addison come to work things out but can't, Meredith needs to be saved, Addison saves her as Mark comforts Derek. Addison is no longer the scorned ex-wife, she's the woman who saved her competitor, and Mark is no longer the seedy ex-bestfriend, he's the guy who was there when Derek needed someone the most. It would be perfect!!
