Scooby, the pup ds rescued just over a month ago, went to his new home tonight. He will now have 3 little boys ages 2,3, and 5 to play with! He's very active and playful, so I think this will be a great fit. He's up to 24 lbs, so is big enough to handle himself, but not so big he should be a danger to the kids.
I am SO relieved to have found him a decent home. He and Moses played, but would often end up actually fighting. So far neither had gotten hurt, but the bigger they got the more worried I was that they might. Moses seems more content now that he has his house and family back to himself. He's much more laid back and quiet than Scooby, so I expect things to settle down around here a bit now.
I'm glad we were able to take him in, and relieved that he's now gone again to a good place. I know the people who took him, as I used to babysit for the boys grandpa way back when. LOL Funny how that works when you're in a rural area like ours.
