Tink - my vote is to go for it! You have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain!!! You don't know if you can do something if you don't at least try.

Let me give you a little background on me - several years back, when hubby and I decided to move back to where we are now, I gave up a job I had as an office manager/assistant to the district manager of an insurance company. I knew in relocating, a management position would be hard to come by - especially here and boy was I right! But I had to start somewhere, get my foot in the door, and I did just that. I started in an entry level position and worked my way up from there back into a supervisory position. For the past 2 1/2 years, I have been doing medical coding for a long term acute care hospital. I was approached over a month ago about going to one of the clinics as their manager - they knew my background, what I can do, etc. After much thought and prayers over it, I accepted the position and will be starting on the 2nd of April. BUT - I would not have been offered this job had I not taken the "leap" and applied for management positions in the past. Someone took a chance on me, gave me the opportunity, and I'm grateful for it.

Take the chance - someone out there is waiting for someone like you to give that chance to. Don't sell yourself short - you are way better than that Best of luck and keep us posted!
