Rebecca that is so odd that you mentioned aliens. I used to be afraid of the dark when I was younger. Even after I got married I would drive around until my hubby got home or drive to town, because I was afraid to be alone while it was dark. The reason being.........When my mother, younger brother, and I came home from a grade school PTA meeting, my brother and I were playing in the front yard while Mom was talking in the car with the lady who brought us home. My brother and I saw this huge, lights flashing oval object just above our neighbors house and it was humming. We ran to Mom and she and the lady heard the humming, but didn't see the oval object. It was probably twice the size of a ranch style house. I'll never forget it. Now I'm not afraid. To tell ya the truth, it just wore me out being afraid and never being able to be here at my own house alone.
