My mom didn't believe in "time out" she believed in "knock out".
LOL But I never felt like she was abusive and I knew she loved me because whenever I got a spanking she would cry and apologize afterwards. I learned my lessons and grew up to be a conservative and straight laced woman. Kids nowadays threaten their own parents with calling Child Services if they try to discipline them. I think that is why we have all the crazy stuff happening. In my day, parents weren't afraid to discipline their kids and we never had school shootings. Maybe our parents had the right idea.
