Judy, I'm so glad she finally called you!
I have to admit I agree with Janet though... given the way things have been, that might simply be asking too much. If you've gone to Alanon then you know she has no control over him or the way he treats you or even her. I don't know that you can ask her to promise what's not hers to give without her just turning away again.
