Good to hear from all of you.
My darling handsome, hot 70 yr old husband still makes my heart zing when he walks into a room....
....We have stayed together because:
1. divorce was not an option.....
2. we learned to work through our problems thru a few sessions of counseling.....
3. He has a deep respect for women. He views them as the stronger sex.....His personality is warm and approachable. Women like and admire him.
4. He was once a gorgeous young man who was often targeted by other women...at work....etc.........but his stong spiritual faith kept our relationship affair free. Faithfulness builds trust!!!!!
5. As I battled breast cancer....he kissed my bald head, helped me pick out wigs..stayed with me through chemotherapy.......
6. We married 47 years ago against the advice of our parents and family.
You never know how love will turn out....but I knew that this man was for me.
I was 6 weeks away from marrying the wrong man when I first met my darling.....he called me the day after I broke my first engagement. Never been apart since that long ago day.
For all of you....I wish for you a good mate....for you who are single.....take time to find the right man.....because just being married for the sake of being married is a nightmare.
My sweet daughter's husband just walked out of their 16 year marriage. She thot she had found her love until death parted them....but unfortunately it seems another person parted them
