I did check out the web for the YMCA here in town. My gosh, they talk about all the Christian principals they try to uphold and then for an adult...charge a total of $389.88 for a membership. Guess they want to keep the rif raf out. They do have classes, but it doesn't say how much each class is. I will have to contact them and find out. I definitely can't afford the membership.
When I belong to Curves, I can't remember exactly how much it was, but they took it out of your account. Why can't these places let you pay just by the month and that's it? Would be so much better for some.

I agree with you Janet, they always charge your credit card each mt. I HATE THAT. I like to go and stop when I want to. There is a Gold's gym by me, that is not bad, you pay mtly. also by credit card. To cancel you have to give 2 mts. prior notice. I always start in January and am finished in April. Is this gym by you? If it is check it out.
I have not joined as of yet, there is another place that just opened up by me.. So I will check them out soon. I need that pushhhhhhhhhh. lol
PS. Correction the gym use to be called Gold's it is now called 365 Fitness.
