The strength I have known
The way I have grown
The one I can turn to
The one and only you
The lessons I was taught
The times I got caught
The memories we share
The times I yelled, "that's not fair!"
The many hugs you gave
The many times you had to say "Behave!"
The tears we have shared
The ways you have shown you cared
The trips to a doctor at two
The one and only you
The times you shed a tear
The many hours I caused you fear
The smile upon your face
The times you had to say, "pick up the pace."
The times I forgot to say, "thank you"
The way you reminded me to
The times I know I am lucky to be
The daughter of she
The loving and caring too
The one and only you!
