I went to Wal-Mart on Monday very early and there was not even one cashier working, only self checkout. I was the doing the basics kinda shopping, detergent, trash bags, shampoo, etc...you know the kinda thing and I wasn't really wanting to self check. I think there should ALWAYS be someone there to take your money!!
That is the most important thing!!
But, on the other hand, Wal-Mart pays their people NOTHING!! I am not surprised at the type of people who work there or high turnover. Why would anyone want to work there...no benefits, pitiful pay, schedules all over the place...yeah, not the best job situation. But, if you do take the job, do your best, don't talk on the cell....geez. I have had a cartful of stuff many a time a Wal-Mart and then just left it at the checkout, cause the lines were so long..wonder why I keep going there
