Yes, I have had the squirrels in there for a while. A couple of years ago my dh rescued them after their mother committed suicide, by jumping out of a electric pole he was replacing. They were about 1 week old. When they were big enough we moved their nesting home outside and taught them the kind of things we thought their mother would teach them. There was 1 male and 2 females. It was funny to watch my DH teach them to climb a tree.
They left our yard for bigger trees late in the summer. They came back for water the next summer. We have not seen them this year yet.

Spearmint is like the "invasion of the yard snatchers."
This will be my first spring and summer in this house, so I'm anxious to see what pops up. I do have a creeping charlie problem in the side yard, but I have a lawn care company taking care of that already.
