I love this thread...takes me waayyyy back. Our first year of marriage, on Valentine's Day, my husband proudly came home with a FERTILIZER SPREADER!! He was so proud of himself, cause I had said a couple weeks ago that we needed one. I very nicely said, yes we did need one, but that I really didn't want one as a present...that it was like soap, shampoo and necessities...you don't want them as gifts!!
He did see the light after that, I have since received diamond rings, diamond earring and the best one a Corvette. He now is very thoughtful, I get flowers for no reason all the time. Ya just gotta take the time to teach 'em!!
