"Easy for me to say?" I am a control freak and want to make sure everyone knows what they are doing. You might have this personality, hope not, it is stressful. Things will work out, can't wait for you to close and get in that house and on the deck.
My mortgage broker is a control freak. I really appreciate that about her. She's terrific. My realtor is also really good. Whatever I ask him to find out or do, he's right there. My lawyer - eh - but he does his job. There was a death and the whole law office was closed, so I'm assuming it was somebody close to them. That probably was what he was focused on.

I'm having the appraisal done Tuesday or Thursday (a "T" day) and as soon as that's written up, and the signed contract is sent to my mortgage broker, the bank can sign off on the mortgage. All the paper work for the mortgage has already been done.

I don't know if anything else has to be done, but I went to the beach yesterday with a friend and had a lovely day.
