Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I hope everyone is doing well!
I have been very busy designing albums and working in the photo lab. In a few minutes, I'll be leaving to go to my very first OFFICIAL pre-wedding bridal interview. My new boss wants me to get a feel for the whole process, start to finish, so he called and asked me to come to the studio today.
I'm scheduled to work the lab Saturday during the wedding I was going to shoot, but I'm trying to get it worked out so that I can work morning shift and then shoot the wedding in the afternoon. My boss wants me to use one of his Nikon cameras so I can see how awesome they are.
lol! It'll be so nice to finally shoot with good quality equipment. His flash and lenses are AWESOME! I'm excited to see what kind of pictures I take with his stuff.
I am so lucky to have found someone to train me to do something I really enjoy, and to get paid to do it! If I didn't have such a desire to help people and make a difference in the world, this might just be my career. As much as I love it though, I'd rather do something that has more of an impact. Anyway, it's fun for now and the skills I'm learning will be useful to me for the rest of my life. What more could I ask for at this point in my life?
Okay, so that's enough rambling for now. I just wanted to let you all know that I'm still alive!
Hope I haven't missed out on too much of your lives this summer. I think things will be less busy when school starts back. I miss chatting with you ladies!
