YEA!!! We escaped about 5:30 this afternoon. We stopped on the way home for his favorite hamburger and french fries (we share one order so neither of us is eating too much BAD food) and strawberry malt. The hospital food was just nasty!!!
Then he took a bath (can't shower yet due to incision from pacemaker battery change) and I washed his hair. Now, he perched in his lazy boy, holding dogs
, watching his big screen TV, enjoying the peace and quiet of home!!!
He's so happy to be here and so am I. We're going to have a quiet weekend, and catch up on some much needed sleep!
