It has been 2 hours since the admitting doc said we could go home when the heart doc OK'd coumadin or aspirin. Gary has been in the hospital 12 times since Dec. of 2003, and one of the most frustrating aspects of each discharge is waiting for the damned doctor to come and let us go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you a quota? You're just so sweet, they can't let you go!

I have NO PATIENCE! When I had my second gallbladder attack, the ER doctor cleared me to leave and I waited over an hour for the nurse to simply pull the IV, let me sign my name and leave. I am NEVER rude to caretakers, but it was very apparent that she was ignoring me. Against my daughter's begging and possibly my better judgment, I pulled the IV myself and walked out.
