In February, a friend of mine had rented a huge cabin in Kimberley, BC, for a snowboarding trip, but people were backing out of going. I told her I would go just to have a fun trip, and also she didn't want to be the only girl! Her brother's friend was going to come, but couldn't make it. His roommate, however, did. My friend liked his roommate a lot, but the first time I saw him we were just connected. Every day I was excited to see him again.
