My husband's sister and her husband are here this weekend for the green chile festival. We took them to see the Mexican Freetail bats (about a million - no, I'm not kidding) take flight from underneath an overpass bridge. It is quite a sight as they fly out to feed on mosquitoes/other insects for the night.

THEN, we went to Chuy's for chile rellenos for dinner!! MMMMMM!!!!!! Today we'll buy fresh green chiles and tour the city. We'll hit the Oasis - a gorgeous setting just outside of Austin on the lake.
