To add to the bread machine make sure you put in your yeast first, then flour and dry ingredients, then add your liquid on top of the liquids.

Rich Sweet Dough

3/4 c. milk, scalded
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. warm water
2 pkg. yeast
1 egg, beaten
4 c. flour
1/4 c. butter

Combine scalded Milk, sugar, salt, and butter. Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in water and stir into milk mixture. Add egg and 2 c. flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in remaining flour and make a stiff batter. Cover dough with foil. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. May be kept in the refrigerator 3 days. To use cut off amount needed and shape as desired. Bake 20 minutes at 400*.

I have another recipe for crescent rolls that I make for every holiday that is very easy if anyone is interested in it.

Thank you I will try it this weekend.
