The chuck wagons were so neat. I wish it hadn't been raining, I would have loved to have eaten the chuck wagon dinners!! I wouldn't want to cook that way either - I'm too spoiled. I forgot to mention that most of the participants were dressed the part too, it was neat to see the clothes, wagons, and cooking set ups!
Yes, we are lucky to have two growing seasons. We have to plant in early March to get things harvested before the dastardly hot July/Aug. Then we can plant things in Aug (if they can survive the heat) to be harvested in Oct/Nov. It is fun to have so much variety.
