Pole Dancin' :D

Okay it looks like I need to get into better shape! I had another class tonight and after the warm-up my legs were already shaky! Now after 3 weeks everyone is starting to loosen up a lot more and I don't feel quite so self-conscious... okay it might feel silly but everyone else is doing it too! When I stop thinking about other people watching me and just concentrate on how I'm moving it actually makes me feel good about myself. And every once in awhile I'd catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and think "Damn I look hot doing this"... maybe it's time for a career change? Just kidding... I would die of exhaustion if that was my full time job LOL
Anyways, I'm promising myself I will actually practise some stuff at home this week, especially my "sexy-getting-up-off-the-floor" move. Oh yes, there's a move for that. And it's tough! Each class is getting more and more challenging, and it's gone from just a fun and hilarious thing to do, to a serious workout! I had no idea what I was getting myself into! No wonder strippers get paid more than I do

LOL you reminded me of a story Diana... I gotta tell this about my friend, because I know she doesn't read here so it'll be okay

Anyways, to get off the floor from laying on your stomach, you have to slide your body on the floor until your butt is high in the air, and then push your chest off the floor with your hands... well my friend got her butt high in the air and got stuck

But it was SO funny to see her unable to push herself back up, and the whole class was laughing. I'm glad it wasn't me because I would have been so embarassed! Good thing she can laugh at herself

Reminds me of a time many years ago, that I tried to dance 'sexy' for my ex. He asked me to do it again.. I did and he said not to do it again.. I was that bad!

Tonight I discovered my favorite pole dancing move ever... the fireman spin! I'm tall so I can grab the pole up high, and there's a long way down for me to spin! LOVE IT!
