I am so happy!
I lost 6 pounds!!!
  I am so excited! I started dieting for real about 4 or 5 weeks ago, and really buckled down 3 weeks ago when I went to the doctor. She told me I needed to lost about 10 pounds. I started at 143.5 and I'm now 137.5. My goal is 130. The McDonald's Chicken sandwich and fried I had Wednesday hasn't caught up with me yet. HaHa!!!

That is GREAT, Judy! I need to lose 10 lbs too. I've buckled down the last couple of weeks and lost 3 lbs - BUT we are going to go on vacation in 2 weeks - I should have started earlier because I always do TERRIBLE on vacation.

It is rough on vacation. I usually allow myself a lot of slack when I'm out or away.
Then I just pick up dieting again when I get home. Coingrats on the 3 pounds!!!

Way to go to the both of you!!! I need to lose about.....LOL...well...a whole heck of a lot, but probably won't happen....I might as well face it.

Thank you Betty for giving us some news. One never knows whatll happen with this disease and I bet that your friends will be as relieved and happy to have Shannon home, as Shannon will be to be there.
