Today was my mom's 87th birthday!

I just returned from spending the evening with my mom. She had a good birthday. Her step daughter and daughter in law both called along with two step-granddaughters, so she was tickled pink to hear from them. She got lots of cards in the mail, and she loves that.

I took her to her orthopedic check up after her knee surgery this summer and the doc said she was about 3 months AHEAD of where most people are at this time. I was really proud of her!
