Slippery dang tub!

My tub wasn't properly rinsed out yesterday afternoon when someone else used it... so last night I step in to take a shower and ended up falling.
I scraped my leg, arm and upper back, and bruised my middle back and thigh. I'm moving real slow today! I was so mad! I climbed back in and took my shower, and went to bed.
I made sure to let the careless person know about it today. What really scared me was that I ended up falling on my back and had I not been able to slow myself down I might have really hurt myself seriously. I landed on the center of my back right on my spine on the edge of the commode. I got lucky this time... don't know what I'd have done here by myself if it would have been worse.

Oh Boy Tink! I hope that your feeling better today. Your lucky you could have broken something. I am sure whomever did this got a yelling.. Feel better.

Thank God you're alright. Reading that scared me to death and reminded me of falling out of the bus.

Keep a heating pad handy and just rest a bit. I'm so glad it wasn't worse.

. I am glad you are alright. just remember to be careful, if your back starts hurting more or it isn't getting better. I have had back problems since my spine was hit with an epidural and Angie fell on ice-covered steps and has had problems with hers.

Oh, Tink, it's scary to think of you falling that hard! I'm so very glad that you're not hurt any worse than you were. Someone mentioned a heating pad and that's a wonderful idea or a soak in a hot tub after taking some Ibuphrophen (good for inflamation)!!! I hope that you're not too sore.

Thanks for your concern Janet

Thanks to good hot showers and Aleve I'm moving fairly well already. I have some lovely bruises, but am lucky it wasn't a whole lot worse.

Yes you are very lucky. I thought of you this morning and wondered if you were able to get out of bed without too much pain.

I remember when I fell out of the bus...I had a huge bruise and a knot on my ...huh...right cheek...LOLOL. I thought there was enough padding there to never get a knot, but it was there and I was so sore for a few days.

I'm so glad it didn't get you down any.
