Baby abuse story on CNN!

I just read a story on CNN about a father who horribly abused his 4 DAY OLD baby! Broken bones, used a cattle prod!

What is wrong with people!! My son and his wife can't have children and would do anything to have a baby and then I read crap like this. It just breaks my heart. I want to go find that boy and choke his eyes out!

We hear way too much of child abuse thats going on!!!! It makes me sick

Why the H*LL do they want kids in the first place!!!! URGH!!!! This world has some cruel people walking around

I don't get it. What is wrong with these people? They should be locked away for life. Poor defenseless babies at the hands of nut cases. What's it gonna take????

Yes it is very sad and there are so many sick people in this world, sorry to say but our dogs get treated like humans . It's a shame for people who do want them and cant have children. I think these people should give them up to a church or a local hospital instead of abusing them.

Gosh that man should be locked up FOREVER! Poor baby. Four days old, and thats how he welcomes his daughter into this world? I just don't understand how people can do this to anyone, let alone their offspring!

I don't understand how anyone could be so cruel to a child or anyone else for that matter. I hope that that baby goes to new parents!!

Not that it is an excuse, but how old was this father? Probably another case of kids having kids is my guess. Not old enough to learn how to care for, love and have patience for a baby.

I think the story said he was 21, but it goes on to talk about thie weird website he had .........

that's just awful!!! i cannot imagine harming a baby at all!! let alone me harm a baby.. i can't believe he would hurt his own child!

age is not an excuse.. im a young mom and im so blessed to have my daughter in my life no matter how hard it was bringing her in this world. i would NEVER hurt her.. my daughter has taught my husband and i so much.. definately taught us patience and i'm thankful for that.

and these babies are just so defenseless, they depend on us for everything...

i think that is just cruel and he should definately take the maximum punishment..

is the baby ok? is she/he alive still? poor thing.. that's just horrible!!

The last I heard the baby was in critical condition and had several operations with more to come. No updates in the last few days.
