So What's Going On???

I have to admit that I haven't posted on here too much because.......well, just because. So what's going on in your life this week?

I'm trying to stay OFF of the computer (it's not working, by the way!) and get my house cleaned up. When I was working I didn't feel like cleaning and it really suffered. I have a church group here at the house on Sunday evening so that's my inspiration to get it done.

My husband has surgery on his hand on Friday morning. He's so indecisive about it so I'm not real sure that he's going to through with it or not. He changes his mind several times a day. It's about to drive me crazy!!! It's been bothering him for quite a while and been getting worse. It's not carpal tunnel, it's something called S.L.A.C. It's caused from having an old injury to his hand.

So far today I've been working on my living room. I bought some antique baby gowns and steamed them and hung them in my living room. I have a long shelf and it really needed something to hang underneath of it. I've been changing styles and my primitive look just doesn't work any more for me. So tell me do you like what I've done? And what have you been up to?

I really like your decorating. The shelf is nicely done. Possibly to balance out your hanging items, hang something on the far left. Possibly a long dried flower arrangement or ?? Looks good though!!

I give you a thumbs up to your cleaning...I haven't been up to that too much, however need to!! It's about time for spring cleaning.

It's beautiful here today so instead of "spring cleaning" I went on a nice horseback ride with Wildflower. It's just too gorgeous to stay indoors.

I haven't been on here as much either. Not sure why? Guessing just little tasks around here have kept me occupied. Plus lately the time I've been on the pc I've been researching horse related stuff instead. Wildflower has dropped some weight (wish i could say the same for me) so I've been researching items to fatten her back up again.

Hope all goes well with your hubby if he decides to go through w/ his surgery.

Oh...I have a antique room and those gowns would look so pretty in it, LOL. I might have to steal some of your decorating ideas and add more to my room.

Your room looks nice. I really need to get off my butt and get some things done around here. I'm wanting to either put hardwood down, or that real thick high quality linoleum that looks like wood. I have all kinds of plans and ideas in my head, just gotta wait until I have the funds.

My husband painted the one wall in the living room a few weeks ago, it's like a burgandy, but now i want that whole corner chocolate brown, and do away with the burgandy, i want other curtains, hmm.... i better get started

Isn't it nice when all of us share all kinds of things....sure helps keep us motivated. I'm so looking forward to getting a different kind of flooring, then I'll worry about decorating....

Thanks guys! I, too, feel that I need to hang a little more on the shelf and I've been on e-bay alot trying to figure out just what I want. I love antiques so I'm leaning towards something old, but haven't found "just the right thing".

Mandy, I've thought about painting a wall a dark red but I'm afraid to do it! I do have a really small wall in between rooms that I think I might go ahead and paint.

Can you tell that spring-fever has hit? The room that I took pictures of I rearranged yesterday. I love those little things that you put under the legs of furniture. It sure makes moving them so much easier!
