Take care of their health!!!!
I was babysitting tonight for the same couple I babysite for constantly
I wish they would feed their kids better food!!! Their TWO year old daughter has tummy aches and is constipated ALL the time, it's obviously because they all eat terribly and they let them eat whatever htey want. It's so sad! I mean the tantrums of you suddenly changing their diet will eventually go away, their health is so important! I just don't understand some of the parents I babysit for, and how they don't take proper care of their kids. Just obvious things (like you should NEVER have a mobile for a baby that can sit up or is over 5 months of age, it's SO dangerous) It's just so sad.

It sounds like you are a very caring babysitter. Wish you were around when my son was small. I never left him very often. Are you in or considering a career with children?

That's too bad that the parents aren't feeding their child healthier food. Sadly fast food is very easy to buy or to fix and it's what the kids love. We need to remember that the parents are the ones who need to make the decisions, not the kids. To many parents let their children make decisions.

ya they let the kids choose, like they should give them options, but options like "do you want a tuna sandwich or a peanut butter sandwich?"
not "do you want chicken nuggets or a cheeseburger?" lol ya I am considering a career working with kids, couldn't imagine anything but that honestly. To be honest I used to hate kids, and I mean hate, I would like cross the street if a group of kids were coming towards me, I thought they were sticky and annoying, then idk, I changed like a looong time ago and just loved them ha ha ha. I have to be honest, I think I'm like the best babysitter ever, because unless it's night time, they don't sit and watch TV (most kids watch a movie before going to sleep though, and unfortunately fall asleep before the movies over and I have to carrrry them to bed, and I'm not too strong lol), I actually do things with them. And I don't charge an arm and a leg. lol. I really ams truggling with finding the right career, I would really enjoy working with very young kids with autism or other disabilities, I've known sign language for years, but I'm going to take classes to become more fluent. idk how to find this career, I don't want to be a teacher, idk what I want to do!!!

Miss_sara, there are dozens of jobs you could choose from. Especially ones with disabilities! With so many very premature babies now being saved,. there's more call than ever for therapists of all sorts, from speach to physical, and everything in between. If you have that kind of a love of children, it sounds like you'd be a wonderful person to have working with them.
I hope you're able to find your niche. When you're doing what you love, it's NOT work.
