Makes me cry!!
Why oh why does one of my favorite movies have to make me cry so much?! Has anyone else seen Ladder 49? It's about the Baltimore FD; John Travolta and Joaquin Pheonix are in it. I just got done watching it. It's amazing, and according to my firefighter it's actually really accurate. Of course when it came to theaters the national firefighter association sent out an email to everyone to not take wives and girlfriends to see it. The movie takes on a whole new meaning when you're dating a firefighter! If you haven't seen it, it's a great movie!!

I haven't seen taht movie either, but you are the not the first one who has told me it is VERY good. And YES! You two DO make such a BEAUTIFUL couple!!!!!!!!

I've seen the movie Ladder 49 and it is definitely one that you need to have a box of tissues handly. My husband is a rural volunteer fireman and they don't have the protective gear that your boyfriend has, but they very seldom fight house fires. They mostly go to fires that are pasture fires. Some of them are pretty dangerous. My 14 yr old daughter goes with him sometimes.
