My son's Birthday!!
Today my son turns 16 years old. Where as the time gone? It doesn't seem that long ago, that I had him in his punkin seat and just making him laugh, talking to him and just so in love!! He's taller than I now and I just can't say enough on how proud I am of him. He's a great kid, a great son!! I am so blessed with him. Thank you God for trusting me with this child. I hope I've made you proud.

Janet, you are very blessed with your son. I've read the many remarks that you've made about him and your pride and love for him shows in all that you've posted. I hope that he realizes what a wonderful mother that he has in you! It sounds like you've done a wonderful job in helping him become prepared as an adult. Treasure the next few years that you're still able to keep him at home with you because, speaking from experience, they'll fly by in the blink of an eye. Things change so quickly after they leave home, but you know what? They never quit being your little boy (even if they're 32!) Give your son an extra hug from me and tell him "Happy Birthday!!"

Well my son had a great 16th birthday. He had a good day at school. We went to eat at one of his favorite restaurants "Pepe's" and then came home to let him open a couple of presents. He ended up getting about $60.00 in the cards that were sent and he recieved a new CD (Lynard Synard, don't know if I spelled that right) and a VCR/DVD player. He was just thrilled. I am just so blessed he is my son. I told him he couldn't get any older for a couple more years, he said he'd try, but he can't stay a teenager forever....
