SO FAR not as bad as predicted!

We were told to expect up to a foot and a half of snow overnight last night on TOP of the 14" we already got yesterday. So far, it's more like 3". Here's hoping it doesn't get much worse! Right this moment it's not snowing at all, and the plows are out, so for now all is well.

I had to really press on the outside door which swings out from the porch to force the snow away to let Moses out this morning. The new snow is heavy and wet, so makes quite an effective doorstop! If we get another foot of that I'll be waking Joel to help me shoulder the door open! LOL

I am so glad a lot of snow is not the norm here. I do not like snow at all unless it's in pictures...LOL

Last night they had us under a ice storm warning. It was looking really bad, but got up this morning and it's 41 degrees. Just some ice on the roads, but I bet it don't stay.

up to 31 degrees now, so everything is settling fast. Ijust let Moses out again and had to use a broom to reach around the door and get it cleared of snow to help him squeeze through!

Weatherbug says we have 40 mph winds, with another 4" of snow coming, so thank God it's wet and heavy or it would be blowing back in everything that's been shoveled or plowed from yesterday.

I plan to simply hibernate today. There's nothing out there that can't wait. lol
